How It Started
It was 2 AM. I was trying to save a video for offline viewing during a flight. Every tool I tried was either buried in ads, demanded an account, or tried to install something sketchy. I thought: 'This shouldn't be this hard.' So I built DLMOD. A simple tool that does one thing well — download videos. No popups, no signup walls, no nonsense. Just paste a link and go.

DLMOD is powered by yt-dlp, the most comprehensive video extraction library supporting 1000+ sites. We built custom extractors for popular platforms like TikTok and Instagram for even faster downloads. Videos are processed in memory and never touch our storage.
Privacy by Design
We don't track you. We don't store your videos. We don't sell your data. Your IP is logged briefly for security (deleted after 7 days), and that's it. No analytics, no ad cookies, no third-party tracking. What you download is your business.
